Virginia GEMS brand and website to be developed by Business Bullpen

The Arts Council of the Blue Ridge and Business Bullpen will be working together this fall to launch Virginia GEMS, a new initiative designed to motivate holiday shoppers to purchase experiences and services rather than goods, therefore impacting the environment in a positive manner by decreasing the enormous amount of waste associated with holiday shopping and gift purchases. The website will present a listing of Virginia GEMS sponsors who will be offering discounts on these experiences during the holiday season.

The Arts Council of the Blue Ridge is located in downtown Roanoke, Virginia. Business Bullpen will be providing logo and web design services, along with web development and hosting.

New website for First Presbyterian Preschool of Atlanta launches

Business Bullpen has completed the website redesign for the First Presbyterian Preschool of Atlanta. The new site is a CSS driven layout with elements of flash. Business Bullpen also implemented WordPress as the content management platform.

From the First Presbyterian Preschool website, “Founded in 1946, our preschool is one of the oldest, continuously operating preschools in Georgia. The preschool is a program ministry of the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta and our purpose is to provide a high quality academic education integrated with a Christian environment of love, support and acceptance.”

Graham and I are happy to announce that Matt Walters has joined the Business Bullpen development team. Matt has 5 years of development experience, most recently as a Web Development Manager with RightMinds of Richmond, Virginia.

Matt will be helping us with our php and css projects initially, but we expect him to expand into other technologies as opportunities arise.
